On a recent wintry weekend, thousands of knitters and crocheters gathered in New York City for yarn, laughter, and learning. As the strategic partner of Vogue Knitting, we couldn’t wait to be there—especially as it marked the launch of our Maker accounts, bringing the GoSadi platform to the broader community.
Gatherings like Vogue Knitting LIVE give our community a space to connect, share, and build something meaningful together. We love being in the same space with makers, designers, and creative business owners, hearing about what you’re working on, discovering new ideas, and talking honestly about where our industry is headed.
Here are just a few of our favorite parts of the event:
GoSadi Game Night: Cocktails, Camaraderie, and Prizes
Once again, we opened up the Vogue Knitting LIVE! festivities with the GoSadi Game Night & Cocktail Hour, featuring Olga of Gotham Knits and Samantha of Bobble Club House. Not only did we have amazing food and drinks, but we gave away a ton of prizes from our friends at Yarnspirations, Asylum Fibers, Knit Companion, Twice Sheared Sheep, Blue Sky Fibers, and more. Attendees played bingo, answered trivia questions, and tried their hand at the wheel of chance.
Designer Display: Where Inspiration Begins
The GoSadi Designer Display brought samples straight from designers’ workrooms to the show floor, inviting the community to experience the details and craftsmanship up close. Eleven designers from our community shared patterns that brought together the latest trends, as well as classic silhouettes:

GoSadi Fashion Show— Featuring Our Community and Sponsors
We collaborated with some of our favorite brands and designers to bring a spectacular array of patterns to the Vogue Knitting LIVE! fashion show stage. Showstopping pieces by designers including Marci Marra (Vetri Poncho, below left) and Romi Hill (Blooming Desert, below right) had the crowd oohing and aahing. It was a true celebration of fiber artistry.
And what made it especially meaningful was seeing designers, makers, and the broader community come together to celebrate the work.

The Yarn Grotto Returns! Fun and Flair in the Marketplace
We were thrilled to bring back our popular Yarn Grotto Photo Op, made possible by our friends at Yarnspirations! Hundreds of knitters and crocheters stopped by all weekend long to take photos in front of the wall. We loved seeing all of you!

GoSadi Maker Accounts Launched!
This VKL weekend was extra special for GoSadi, since we opened up registration for our Maker accounts. The response has been incredible. In just a few days, over 400 people created accounts. WOW! These numbers show that makers are ready for a shared space to create, connect, and grow.
