Joyce learned to knit at age 5—her mother’s hands guiding hers—and that early love for the craft never left her. Born in Taiwan, raised in Colorado, and now rooted in Brooklyn, her journey has wound through molecular biology, software development, and a graduate program in mental health counseling. What ties it all together? A deep curiosity about people and a gift for making them feel seen.
After a pause in the tech space, Joyce found her way to GoSadi—a place where her passion for community and her natural gift for connection could take center stage—joining the team as Community & Growth Manager. Whether she’s hosting events or welcoming first-time stitchers, Joyce helps GoSadi create spaces where creativity feels inspiring and belonging feels instant.
