This simple turquoise-trimmed tank takes Summer of Love literally, spelling things out in seed-stitch letters that are knit separately and sewn on. The focal flower is made in a crocheted slip stitch.

3 (4, 4, 5) skeins of Piper by Dale of Norway 1oz/50g skeins, each approx 114yd/105m (mercerized Egyptian cotton) in #8 yellow (MC)

1 skein in #773 turquoise (CC)

One pair size 6 (4mm) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook
