9 1oz/50g balls (each approx 110yd/100m) of Debbie Bliss/KFI, Prima (bamboo/extrafine merino) in #24 light grey

Contrasting dk weight yarn (scrap yarn)

Size 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) circular needles, 29"/74cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

One pair size 8 (5mm) needles

Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook (for chain-st provisional cast-on)
