Way back in the day, long long ago, before I started Moogly... I would do a lot of bartering and trading for handmade gifts with other crafty moms. And one of the things I would make to trade was a hand-sewn baby doll! It featured a flat, flannel, blanket body, with a simple head and sleeping cap, knotted at each corner.

Now, I've decided to translate that sewing pattern into crochet! The crochet version is bigger, squishier, and features additional texture from a super satisfying stitch pattern. The knotted corners keep busy fingers entertained, and you can add any expression to the face, or leave it blank so their imagination can soar.
