Maple Seed Skirt
Knitting, Skirt
The Maple Seed Skirt is a twirly circle skirt full of ruffles and volume. Worked from the waist down, the skirt starts with a ribbed waistband which transitions into a ruffle made from stockinette, reverse stockinette, and raglan increases leaning the "wrong" way. Both functional as a skirt and fun as a whirling device, the Maple Seed Skirt mimics the whimsical whirligig shape of a helicopter seed.
