**SIZING**
Hat is shown in Slouchy style, size S. Although Brim lengths are provided, you can achieve a perfect fit by working the horizontal brim to the exact length that works with your actual head circumference. Regardless of the hat style you're knitting, you'll want the Brim to be smaller than your actual head circumference. For the Beret & Slouch styles, Brim should fit snugly, but not uncomfortably so to help hold the weight of the extra fabric. For the Beanie, you'll still want a Brim that is smaller than your circumference but it can be slightly looser than for the other two styles.
 
**EXPERIENCE**
Pattern is written for intermediate level knitters ready to follow stitch patterns and pick up and knit. Instructions are provided to either work a provisional cast on to graft live stitches together, or to replace the provisional CO and seam as an alternative.
 
**OPTIONS**
As for the Brim circumference, you can easily adjust the overall length of your hat to suit your personal preferences by adding or removing repeats. Individual crown shaping instructions are provided for each style to keep the lacework in place for as long as possible. Tailored at the shoulders with top-down, seamless set-in sleeves, this v-neck is deliciously comfy with a fit that is just as yummy with flattering shaping sitting just above the hem, sweatshirt style. Two contrasting yarn bases are featured in the same colorway providing stability at the shoulders, neckline & hems balanced with a super-light fabric throughout. Layer this top for warmth or go with less in milder temps. Use this design as a palette for dreamy stripes, choose contrasting colors in your bases, knit short or long sleeves or a cropped or longer length.

Sample is shown in Size 4 with approximately 5"/12.5 cm positive ease at the Upper Bust/ Chest (UB) and Full Bust/Chest (FB): these two measurements just happen to be the same for me. This design was created to be tailored at the shoulders while simultaneously providing a blousy, sweatshirt style fit in the chest. This vibrant, form-fitting raglan pullover is full of character. It is seamlessly knit from the top down with easy 1×1 textured colorwork highlighted by dynamic twisted raglan columns that flow effortlessly from yoke to hem. Work the twists in a third color as shown for an extra pop—the perfect opportunity to try intarsia—or keep it simple with just 2 colors. This versatile knit includes a keyhole back neck opening, optional waist shaping with sleeve & body length variations. Sweater is worked from the top down with drop-shoulder seamless sleeves and a contrasting circular hem that includes hem, buttonband & neckline in the round. **GAUGE NOTE**
This garment is worked at two different gauges. The bust and fitted portions are worked at the primary gauge (middle needle size), where the peplum is worked at a larger, more airy gauge. It will be best for you to work swatches at both gauges so that you know you will end up with accurate chest and hip measurements, but the most critical gauge is the smaller gauge which creates the fitted section of the top. If you do swatch for the largest needle size and aren't able to match it exactly, round up so that you are working with a needle size that gives you fewer stitches per 4"/10 cm versus the smaller gauge in order to match the look and style of this garment: fitted at the bust but airy through the waist and hip.

After the arms are seamed, cardigan body is worked back and forth to either a cropped or full length.
