If you are unfamiliar with overlay mosaic crochet technique or the envelope border -- don’t worry! This is MUCH easier than it looks!
  
<i>It's a perfect pattern for mosaic crochet beginners!</i>
  
Full written instructions are provided, alongside clearly marked, easy to read charts and lots of helpful photos.
  
You just have to know these 2 basic crochet stitches:
\* Single Crochet (sc)
\* Double Crochet (dc)

And (in general) use only ONE color per row.

Granny Circle Bookmark Crochet Pattern, Easy Project for Book Lovers and Crocheters. Beginner Scrap Busting pattern

Gift this square (or preferably 2 squares) to a NICU family to help with bonding. Bonding squares are used for babies in the NICU. Mom is given 2 squares  mom wears one against her body and then every 12 hours or so she swaps them out. The smell will help baby bond to mom when they can’t physically touch each other yet.

This is basically a swatch of the Jasmine Stitch.
