逐玉 , or Pursuit of Jade, is inspired by the Chinese novels and drama of the same name. This popular drama turned
heads with its stunning visuals and storyline. These mittens carry the same name and feature a cute pig on the palm, an
ode to the female lead in this series. The right hand character stands for “pursuit” and the left hand stands for “jade.” The thumb design is reminiscent of a pheasant feather, symbolizing martial valor and courage in Chinese cultural history.

Written for a medium adult size, other sizes can be achieved by using a different gauge. The short motif allows for some room for lengthening/ shortening the hand portion.

The Jesper Bracers joins the collection in a fun mash-up of the [Jesper Bandana Cowl](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jesper-bandana-cowl) and [Jesper Mitts.](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jesper-mitts) Like the bandana cowl, this uses Japanese short rows for shaping. The texture is stretchy and very forgiving to extend over the forearm, and length is adjustable for the amount of coverage up the forearm. The left and right mitts mirror each other perfectly and because this uses worsted weight yarn, it's also a very quick knit!

Various sizes are achieved by changing the gauge.

Heartspell came from trying to find a name for another pattern, the Wholehearted Hat. I loved the suggestion so much, I decided to work backwards and create this pattern to fit the name. ♥

This design features half hearts that look like magic swirling up to the crown. The hearts fizzle out on top. It is written for both DK and worsted weight yarns with a table of suggestion on how to convert this to aran and bulky weights.

Noro Yarns is known for the rich tapestry of colors inspired by nature. Sometimes beauty is not in intricate stitches, but in their simplicity. This simple stockinette mitten uses beginner friendly techniques and doesn't differentiate between left or right. The thumb hole is easily created using a piece of scrap yarn (called a peasant thumb) and requires minimal picking up of stitches (just 1 on each side of the thumb!).

Aran weight yarn: 66 grams (~145 yards) for size M
Recommended yarn: Noro Ito
US 7/ 4.5mm shorties, DPNs, or circular needles for magic loop method

Simple textures are sometimes exactly what we need for a relaxing project. These mitts feature an elongated stitch that is so classy, and is done without a cable needle! The design pairs perfectly with the Ascendio Beanie. The mitts feature an additional option to make a mirrored left hand so the "swoops" go the other way.

Although written for just 3 sizes (for each yarn weight), it's fairly easy to adjust and suggestions are given in the pattern.

Fair Isle Hat Knitting Pattern – Wholehearted Hearts Colorwork (PDF Pattern)

This design is named for Jesper Fahey from the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo. He is a charming and quick-witted sharpshooter with a penchant for gambling. He often wears a cocky smile and is known for his flashy style and love of guns. The textured pattern reminds me of clubs or spades from a deck of cards. Incorporating into a cloche just felt right for Jesper’s style, especially when the crown ends up like a bullseye!

There are so many ways to style this if you're not a fan of the cloche style. Block the brim flat and wear it as a bucket hat. Block one side as instructed and style it as a bonnet with the fold in the front, as a cloche with the fold on the side and tilted, or as a baseball cap with the bill in front!

Knowledge needed: Provisional cast on, M1R (make 1 stitch), and the basics (knit, purl, k2tog, ssk)

**Materials:**
Worsted weight ~215-220 yards
Suggested yarns: Fainting Goat Fiber Co non-superwash worsted, Cascade 220
US 6/ 4mm 16” circular needles and DPNs or magic loop to finish crown
US 5/ 3.75mm 16” circular needles or smaller needle size to join the provisional cast on to the body

\*Stitch marker \*Tapestry needle \*Scissors
\*Crochet hook (if needed for PCO)

• Long piece of scrap yarn for provisional cast on

For blocking: Helpful to have a 6-8” styrofoam ball for shaping, pins, and spray starch if you want to stiffen the brim (ie. Aleene's Stiffen-Quick Fabric Stiffening Spray). None of these items are needed though! See the photo tutorials on the last page.

When you wish upon a star...

Starsong is a textured delight. This bandana cowl is knit on circular needles and shaped with short rows. The fit is comfortable and the knitting process is relaxing with the simple repeat. The back of the cowl has a shorter length, meaning less bunching and fabric at the back of the neck. This style fits so well underneath peacoats and winter jackets!

The pattern has 2 variations (right or left leaning) and instructions for 3 sizes. It is very easy to resize though, because being off gauge just a little bit won't make or break this design.

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn 175-210 yards

3 stitch markers (1 different for beginning of round)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Something simple and customizable for everyone in the family! There's just something so comfortable about a slouchy beanie - easy to wear, easy to toss into a bag or pocket, stylish and it really looks great on everyone. This pattern takes that up one notch by letting you create something truly unique for everyone.

Using a basic foundation, there are decorative bands spaced throughout that the knitter can change up. Choose to knit 2 bands for a slouchy style, or 3 bands for an ultra slouchy style. A beautiful textured bandana cowl is a wardrobe staple. It's easy to style without a lot of bulk in the back of the neck. Much like my other bandana cowl designs, this is a seamless knit started in the round, using short rows (Japanese short rows for this one) to provide the shaping from the bottom upwards and out. It is then joined back together in the back to lengthen. Blocking is essential to shaping as the stitch pattern has quite a bit of lateral stretch.

Pattern is written for 3 sizes with suggestions in notes on how to adjust for additional sizes. Tutorials links are included for the Japanese short rows. Photo tutorial and video tutorial included for the special stitches.

Welcome to the Grishaverse. This fantasy world where magic and science live side by side, a universe created by Leigh Bardugo, spans several books, beginning with the Shadow & Bone trilogy. While I loved this particular trilogy, my favorite from this world is the Six of Crows duology. Complex characters, good storytelling, plot twists (especially in the Six of Crows duology), and lots of action make this one of my all-time favorite worlds to dive back into time and again.
\*\* This design uses the irregular double knit technique to keep the image appearing the same (rather than mirrored) on both the inside and outside of the hat.

Materials:
Fingering weight - 2 high contrasting colors
Color A - white Color B - dark green
~175-200 yards of each color

\*6 Stitch markers (one different for beginning of round)
