This is a simple but engaging one skein project using the lighter-than-air Cloud Bulky yarn. Designed by Angela Boswell for Asylum Fibers.

This is a great introduction to Moebius knitting and creates the absolute softest, most cozy cocoon for the neck.
  
Before casting on, please go on Youtube and watch Cat Bordhi’s video “CAT BORDHI – Intro to Moebius Knitting” from beginning to end. You will use her instructions to cast on and knit the first row.

The Dotted Daydreamer Shawl is an easily memorized, garter knit asymmetrical shawl with eyelets; well suited for mini sets, fades, and stash-busting.
  
The pattern is written so you can do more or less repeats to reach your desired size or use whatever yarn you’d like. I would recommend using no less than 900 yards to achieve a nice wearable size for this shawl.
  
I used my Daydreamer mini set for this sample, but don’t be afraid to get creative! This shawl would be great in a single color, striped, or faded (striping when you change colors for a more gradual effect). You could even hold a strand of mohair along to add a halo effect.

The yarn used in the pattern sample pictured was the Asylum Fibers 2019 Advent Calendar, in Merino Fingering. 1 full 100g skein and 24 20g mini skeins of fingering weight yarn are used to create this giant scarf.
  
Finished size is approximately 12.5” x 110”
